Club History
40 years of gymnastics
West Coast Gymnasts is a not for profit organisation and has been established for 40 years. It is located approximately 10km from the centre of Perth WA in Malaga and is a permanently set up gymnastics facility.
WCG has been running for 40 years and we pride ourselves on providing high quality, recreational and competitive programs in a friendly atmosphere.
As the club is a not for profit organisation, we are proud to say that our friendly and cohesive coaching team is supported by an active and dedicated committee.

From coaches and committee members who've dedicated over 20 years to the club, to our new, up and coming coaches, staff and volunteers, West Coast Gymnasts boasts three generations of families and many with two!
Not something you hear about regularly, proving that the club really is a family-friendly, loyal and dedicated organisation you can be sure to feel a part of the family.
All our coaches are nationally accredited (and constantly working towards upskiilling and/or improving their knowledge) so you can be sure that your child is getting the best, latest and safe coaching techniques, advice and knowledge.
Policies & Procedures
Protection for all of our members
West Coast Gymnasts' policies and procedures are continually reviewed, updated and amended according to the latest legislation, by-laws and advice from outside sources, Gymnastics WA and Gymnastics Australia.
Strict adherence to our policies can ensure that you and your family are protected to the best of our ability and can feel confident that all decisions and processes are made with the most utmost concern for all involved.
From safety rules, to club handbooks, from injury prevention policies to member protection, we've got it all covered.
We encourage all family members to learn more about our Policies and Procedures to avoid any miscommunication or misunderstandings. Our Club Handbook is continually updated to ensure the most accurate information is available at all times to its members.
Fundraising
An integral part of our club's income; we can't do gymnastics without it!
To help subsidise our family's fees, our Fundraising efforts are an integral part of the club's budget. Without fundraising our fees to parents would be astronomical and just plain ridiculous!
All members, their families, friends, co-workers, neighbours and acquaintances are regularly asked to help buy a chocolate or two, get involved with a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, or simply help out with an event, just to be able to help keep our gymnasts moving, training and having fun, without any additional hardship placed on their parents.
